Joe Rankin

Hi, my name is Joe, father of Emily and Alexander and husband of Helen. For the past 3 years I have been a stay at home dad looking after our amazing kids. Our youngest has just started nursery so now I have a lot of time to fill.

Most people that know me know that I love to cook and entertain. But my passion for cooking goes much deeper than just the love for food. For many years I have wanted to write my own cook book, 'Cooking for God and the saints'.

My favourite bible verse comes from the book of Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

It reminds me daily that we must bring all things, through prayer, before God.

I come to Home Church simply because it feels like home. The preaching of the word and the worship of God is what brings us but, the fellowship is what makes us stay.
