Maryhill

Welcome to Home Church Maryhill!

We meet every Sunday at 11:30am in the Macintosh Halls, Shakespeare Street,

Home Church Maryhill launched in May 2026 following an incredible move of God.

For some time, we had sensed God calling us into Glasgow, but the way it happened was something only He could orchestrate. What initially looked like a disaster situation at our Kirkintilloch location quickly became a testimony of God’s faithfulness and provision. Within just a few days, God completely turned the situation around and opened the door for us to secure a building right in the heart of the city.

Today, Maryhill serves as the headquarters of Home Church Scotland and is home to many of our national pastors and ministry leaders, including Becca Thottam, National Youth and worship Pastor, Asia Brackenridge, National Young Adults and Missions Pastor, Emilee Graham, National Kids Pastor, Chris Kenny, National Production Lead, and pastors in training Desmond Graham and Debbie Davidson.

Home Church Maryhill is a warm, welcoming community that loves Jesus and loves people. Whether you’ve been part of church your whole life or are simply curious about faith, you are so welcome here.

Before or after the service, please join us for a cup of tea or coffee. We're all about creating a warm and welcoming environment for our church family. It's the perfect chance to unwind, chat, and share stories from your week.

At our core, we're passionate about family and the power of gathering on Sundays to worship together, immerse ourselves in the word of God, and grow spiritually.

Children are a precious part of our congregation, and we wholeheartedly welcome them. During our morning services, we have a special program just for them

Should you have any questions or need assistance during your visit, our friendly welcome team is here to help. You can get in touch with us before your visit on social media or by email: hello@homechurch.scot

National senior pastors
dave & Ela Brackenridge

Dave and Ela Brackenridge are the founding and National Senior Pastors of Home Church Scotland, having pioneered the church together since its inception in September 2019. Married for over 25 years, they are proud parents to five children and a wonderful daughter-in-law.

Neither Dave nor Ela ever set out to become pastors. In fact, they had no desire to lead a church. But after a clear call from God, they chose to give Him their yes, stepping out in faith and obedience with no idea what lay ahead. What began with around 20 people has, by the grace of God, grown into one of Scotland’s fastest-growing churches, now approaching 1,000 people across 12 locations, with a growing national and international influence.

Dave is known as a bold pioneer leader, aggressive church planter, international speaker, and visionary with a passion for building life-giving churches and reaching people with the gospel. Before pastoring, he travelled extensively across the UK, USA, and Europe as frontman of the Christian rock band Royal Foundlings, communicating a message of faith and hope through music. He later founded the award-winning charity Rookie Rockstars, recognised by both the Scottish Parliament and the UK Parliament at Westminster for its impact on young people’s mental health and education. Dave also serves as National Director/CEO of British Youth for Christ, helping lead evangelistic mission to the next generation across Britain.

Ela is a compassionate pastor, faithful leader, and powerful prayer warrior who carries a deep love for people and a heart for the presence of God. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering faith have helped shape the culture and DNA of Home Church from the very beginning. Together, Dave and Ela have built a church culture centred on Jesus, family, discipleship, bold faith, and reaching the lost.

Although they never dreamed of building a large church, God has exceeded every expectation and blown far beyond every dream they once had. Having already seen God do more than they ever imagined, they believe the future remains firmly in His hands. What they do know is that the next season will involve more church plants, more salvations, more lives transformed by Jesus, and an even greater national and international impact for the glory of God.
